MEET JACQUELINE
I’ve been a resident of Lehigh County for over 32 years growing up and raised on the East Side of Allentown by my parents Eva and Robert E. Smith Jr., along with my two siblings Joseph and Heather. I am grateful for my parents on instilling family values and how to have a hard work ethic by setting a great example by their own hard work ethic and always being there to support their kids no matter what.
I am a proud graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School (Class of 2003) and studied Business Administration at Lehigh Carbon Community College. I bring 15 years of experience in finance and management, coupled with a strong commitment to giving back to our community. I have spent nine years coaching youth basketball in Allentown and Bethlehem, and three years coaching youth softball, fostering teamwork, discipline, and growth in our young people. I am an active member of Notre Dame Parish in Bethlehem and currently serve as Secretary of the Lehigh County Republican Committee, where I continue to support our community through leadership and service.
I married my high school sweetheart, Chris, eight years ago. Together, we faced the challenges of being young parents, but with the support of our family and putting our children first, today we’re proud to see the rewards. Our son Tyriek who is 21 and daughter Remiah who is 18 are both thriving in college, and they are truly our greatest blessings. Our family wouldn’t be complete without Bella, our beloved dog, who brings us joy every day. Strong family values have guided me through every stage of life, and I believe they are the backbone of a strong, thriving community. I feel truly blessed to have such a supportive and loving family by my side.

MY REASON FOR RUNNING?
"I am stepping up to run again because our district deserves a Commissioner who shows up, listens, and leads with integrity and honesty." In 2021, I ran for the first time garnering 41% of the vote in a Democrat district which is over performing. Despite, the Democrat Commissioners redistricting this district once again, I decided to run again because the people in this district deserve better. The current Commissioner has been a very absent Commissioner, never present in this district and was just arrested part of an interstate drug ring. He took his position of service to our community for granted and I am surprised that he ran for re-election".

If I am fortunate enough to be elected as your next Commissioner District 3 in Lehigh County, I promise to always listen and represent the needs of everyone in this County regardless of your race, party, religion or background. Community trust is paramount right now in politics and I am committed to earning your trust.
My goal is to reach across the aisle and work with all parties to solve our issues but also maintain my beliefs and core values. I want to ensure sensible solutions are being made for true economic prosperity in Lehigh County. I will not impose any new fees onto taxpayers and will always ask the tough questions when we are giving out money to any organization. I will always put the interests of our Lehigh County residents first. I will work tirelessly to improve our county in every department and ensure the money that is allocated to each department is spent efficiently and effectively.
I will always be responsive to all my constituents, as right now in politics, real concerns are being ignored. I will help educate my community with real transparency and not just talking about it but proving it with action. My ties to the community, my experience in local politics and my passion for doing what’s right are the reasons I have chosen to continue this fight in being your County Commissioner.
